I but coconut oil that has other junk in it at a beauty supplyt store $7 for 1 ounce, and put it on at night, sleep with a plastic shower on, and wash in the morning. I do it once every 2 weeks and it makes my hair so strong, shiny and healthy looking in addition to using coconut oil instead of vegtable oil, it is GREAT for the hair!!!
