What is a “signature” transaction??
I’m 99% sure that refers to using the debit card that they give you with the account as a credit card (meaning you sign the slip for the transaction instead of using your PIN)
FYI ING does pull a hard inquiry on your credit for this type of account, so it could affect your credit.
