Target has finally published their Price Matching Policy that answers many questions/problems that you may have been having….especially the issue of using Target and/or manufacturers coupons when you are having them price-match!
Can I use coupons when price matching?
Target does not match coupon-required offers but guests can use Manufacturer or Target coupons when requesting a price match. Target coupon policy: Target accepts one manufacturer coupon and one Target coupon for the same item (unless prohibited).
One thing to note: the Toys R Us/Target price matching deal that many of you were able to do yesterday & today was actually not supposed to be done (which I didn’t know until just this minute). In the list of exclusions, “doorbuster” deals are not something that they will price match. Of course, I would have never told you to do that had I known that it was against their policy and rest assured that any future deals that I post will fall completely within the rules.
I highly reccommend that you print a copy and keep it in your coupon binder along with a copy of the Target Coupon policy!

I bet after the run on Leapfrog Alphabet Pals at Target yesterday (and today, if there were any left!), that all stores will be fully informed of the “doorbuster exclusion” to price matching!
They actually added the doorbuster clause to the policy sometime last night or this morning probably due to the Leapfrog Alphabet Pals. One of my friends had printed the policy earlier in the week so we could do the deal this morning, but we were denied since they had posted the new one. We already have an alphabet pal as a grandma’s house toy but I was going to get one to donate to toys for tots.
I was planning on donating mine too, but was also denied today. They were also out of “UP” and Monster’s Inc. on Blu-ray. I still got the Barbie DVD’s deal, and I also got a Giraffalafe Limbo game for $9.99 when priced matched with the toy’s r us ad for $14.99 and the $5 off coupon. So it was still worth the trip :)
