It’s a fairly good week at Giant and the $1 Doublers (at some stores) always makes it a little nicer! Lots of BOGO sales, but not all of them have coupon matchups!
Make sure you check out Coupons.com, SmartSource and Redplum for any additional coupons that you might need!

Mindi, Thanks for posting the Giant ad. I know it’s not your favorite, but w/ the treehouse, it’s the most manageable for me. I was thinking about using the doublers combined w/ the two secret deoderant coupons from this week ($1.00 off two & buy2 get one). Would love to know how you will apply your doublers.
What do you mean by $1 doublers? My Giant doubles $1 coupons every week…
Aunt Jemima is bogo this week use coupon $1/of 2 and then by the sausage case has giant coupon if you buy 2 of aunt jemima get 1 banquet’n brown serve free. That would make the deal for $1.79 for all of them, i think it’s pretty good
So frustrated with Giant!! They would not let me use 2 coupons on the BOGO deals. And in all the confusion with dealing with that realized after I left the store that they charged me full price for the Hunts diced tomatoes! I am sticking to Acme…I hate Giant! The manager even told me that she needs to watch out for coupon fraud which I found very offending.
Liz,
Which Giant was that? I go to the Giant in Limerick. I was just there and had no trouble with any of my coupons and the Hunts products were charged correctly. Do you think it was the cashier or do you think that they are changing the policy regarding BOGO deals and coupons. I will keep an eye out on this one and report back if necessary. I have noticed all newer and younger cashiers and don’t see any of my regular cashiers at the registers. I do see them behind the lunchmeat counters and customer service counters… not sure what is going on there????
Linda, I went to the one in North Wales. There was an older woman as the cashier and I could tell it was going to be a nightmare as soon as she told me that I should have given her the coupons at the beginning of my transaction and not at the end. I sometimes go the the one in Blue Bell and didn’t have a problem there before…maybe I will go back to that one next time. Do you know where I can find the coupon policy that says you can use 2 coupons on BOGO deals?
I am so mad about this that I just wrote to the corporate office…here is a copy of what I wrote. I will let you know what their response is…
Good Afternoon, I have been a long time shopper of Giant and only today had a very bad experience. First the cashier told me that I should have given her my coupons at the beginning of the transaction and not at the end and that I was holding up other customers because of it. I was trying to get all of my groceries on the belt while attending to my 1 yr old daughter at the time. I did not realize that it was the policy of Giant to only give coupons before anything is rung up. I have always given my coupons at the end. When I asked her to make sure the Hunts diced tomatoes came up as the sale price she told me that she cannot see it until after the transaction is complete and my receipt prints out and I pay. She also would not allow me to use two coupons even though I bought 2 products because they were on sale BOGO. I have done this before without a problem. When the manager came over she told me her job is to watch out for coupon fraud. I found this very offending as I am not a criminal and am only trying to save my family money so that I can stay home and raise my children. After all this I walked out of the store and looked at my receipt and saw that not only was I not allowed to use my coupons but I was charged full price for Hunts diced tomatoes! I am seriously dissapointed in this store and am considering not shopping at Giant any longer! I am a hard working stay at home mom and do not appreciate being made to feel like I was trying to steal! I would never try to use coupons fraudulantly and there was no reason for the manager to respond to me that way!
Sorry, I am old school. I would go to customer service before I do my food shopping and ask if they were gonna take them and then when I was in line, if the cashier gave me an trouble I would tell her that I was just told in customer service that it was no problem and give her the person’s name if I could remember it by the time I checked out. I did this at Superfresh once and let me tell you that the cashier was not happy that she had to accept my “giant” coupon that I was told would be allowed because she had to do it manually.. Lordie, you would think that she had to use a pencil and eraser….!
When all else fails, ask Mindi for where to find the coupon policy.
Hi, I can not seem to get the 8oclock coffee coupon to print and the Hatfield coupon to print! Thanks for you help!
