As a reminder, the value of the coupons that you find in your newspaper may vary from the value in the provided link! In addition, all of the stores in my area double coupons up to $.99 (so a $.75 coupon has a value of $1.50). If the stores in your area don’t double or your paper is more expensive, you may not find the coupons as valuable as I do!
Check out Sunday Coupon Preview to see the coupons this week. There should be 3 inserts this week: 1 SmartSource insert, 1 RedPlum insert and a Proctor & Gamble insert!
Don’t understand the terms or abbreviations that I use? Be sure to read my Coupon Lingo post!
Coupons of Note
Arnold Soft Family Bread $.55: goes on sale BOGO all the time
Total Cereal $.75: this goes on sale for about $2, making it $.50 after doubling
Hormel Pepperoni $.75: there should be some pretty good sales for this as we approach Holiday entertaining season. Hold on to it for a BOGO sale (and you can easily freeze these packs)
Lloyd’s Ribs or tubs $.75: Local Readers: there is an in-ad coupon in the Acme ad this week for $5 off the ribs. Stack this coupon with the in-ad coupon for a total of $6.50 off (and the ribs freeze beautifully)
Pepperidge Farm Baked Naturals $1: hold on to this until they go on sale for $2
Kleenex $.50/3: the square boxes go on sale for $1, making them $.66 each wyb 3, after doubling
Umcka product $2: this is the “Natures Way” cold-care line and we should see some decent deals at CVS/Rite Aid/Walgreens
Heinz Homestyle Sausage Gravy $1: The gravies will go on sale for $1-$1.50 in about 2 weeks (as we get closer to Thanksgiving). While this is a “breakfast gravy”, it should be included in the sales!
Dannon Multipack Yogurt Coupons 4 at $1 each: these go on sale for $2 all the time
Comtrex Cold Cough product $2: we should see plenty of good sales on this as we continue in to cough & cold season
Sucrets coupons $1 & $1.50: we should see plenty of good sales on this as we continue in to cough & cold season
Rosetto Pasta $1: it’s ben quite some time since I remember seeing a coupon for this!
Nestle Coffee-Mate liquid Creamer $.50: as long as there is no size restriction on the coupon, you should be able to use this to pick up the smaller bottles for FREE to $.25, after sale & coupon (and is another item that freezes weel!)
Nestle Nesquik Product $.50: you can use this on the regular powder/syrups or, as long as there is no size restriction, to get the single-serve milks for free, after sale price and doubling
Ovaltine $1: it’s been quite some time since we’ve had a coupon for Ovaltine
Keebler Crackers $1/2: these go BOGO all the time
L’Oreal Kids Shampoo $.75: goes on sale for $1.66-$2 all the time
L’Oreal cosmetic product $2: we usually only see a $1 coupon, so this is a nice one!
Caribou Coffee (12 oz bag) $2: sales on this brand are infrequent, so a coupon is always nice!
Target Coupons: these can be stacked with manufacturers coupons!
Jimmy Dean Bowl on Entrees $1/2: these go on sale BOGO all the time
Nivea Lip Care BOGO: the lip care is usually included in ECB deals at CVS
Proctor & Gamble Insert: typical P&G coupons – your 1 chance each month to get coupons for these products, but none stand out as spectacular
So how many copies of the paper would I buy?
If I were building a stockpile: 4-6
Now that I am in stockpile-maintenance mode: 4-6
While it isn’t a week that dreams are made of, there certainly are some good (and rare) coupons. It’s a week that qualifies for my “1 paper per family member” rule.

Is anyone else all of a sudden having trouble printing from the coupon printer software? I’ve been using it for weeks, and now it keeps telling me I don’t have it. I uninstalled the one I had, and reinstalled and restarted this morning and it is still doing it. Anyone know if something was changed on their requirements?
There was a Nivea Lip Care Target coupon a few weeks back. Those could stack for interesting savings.
Good luck everyone!
