Is the Pillsbury cat still working? I thought it was though 11/1 making more cheap crescents and Grands?

Arm and Hammer toothpaste is BOGO. There was a $3/2 coupon a while back (exp 11/30), but I don’t know when. This toothpaste usually is 2.50-3.50 per tube, so it should be seriously cheap to free.

Also, Nestle chocolate chips are 3 for $6 (must buy 3). There were $1 coupons a few weeks ago and I have 3 $1 coupons for them, so it will be 3 bags for $3. It’s perfect since I’ll be baking for the holidays.

Last deal – wholly guacamole is BOGO. I don’t have a coupon for it, but it’s usually pretty expensive, so this is a good deal. The 100 calorie packs are perfect for work.

Ok, so I was wrong. Arm and Hammer toothpaste is $4.79 a piece. So, with the BOGO and coupon, it’s $1.79 for two, or 90 cents a tube. Since it’s what we prefer, it’s still a fantastic deal.

Another deal of note – the 8 packs of Nestle brand mini candy bars are on sale for $1. I don’t live in a neighborhood that gets a whole lot of kids for Halloween. If anyone needs just a little bit of candy (and doesn’t want leftovers), that is not a bad option. $2 and I’m all set.

Ok, who is holding out on me here? Who shops at the King of Prussia Acme? I was there yesterday and one of the grocery managers saw me coming. He says “oh, we have another couponer here!” Not in a bad way. He said that there is someone who goes in every Thursday night and has a big binder like me:) And, he said that they told him there is a website where this lady gets $400 worth of groceries for like $3. Wonder who he’s talking about? LOL

There were 1.00/1 wholly guac coupons from a recent insert. They expire 10/31. I am able to use 2 coupons on a BOGO, so .50 for a pack of guac. It freezes beautifully too.

Reese’s 8 packs are 1.25 again. Use the .55/1 for .15 a pack.

Also, I saw this in the ad online, but not in the one in the store… buy a 15.00 or more iTunes GC and get 5.00 of free candy. It’s supposed to come off instantly, but mine didn’t. There was a very small sign on the GC rack where the iTunes cards were, so they gave it to me.

Healthy choice meals are 1.99 and the healthy choice steamers are 2.50. Didn’t see that advertised, think it was carried over from last week. Checked the tags and the sale date runs through this week or maybe even next.

Jennifer – That is too funny! They say the same thing to me when I come in, but I’m not the “Thursday night” person!!

Also, don’t know if anyone has noticed, but at the entry way they have a stack of the FREE Community Trend papers. There is usually one Smart Source coupon insert in these. The coupons are typically not quite as good as the Sunday paper coupons, but this weeks has the Wholly Guacamole, Smithfield Bacon and Taquitos coupons along with a few others.

Thanks for the tip Lara! Ladies…..just so you know I went to the Acme/Genaurdi’s in Doylestown expecting to use my competitor’s coupons $5 off $25 for example and they said they don’t take them any longer. Every Acme is different! I didn’t know that! I was fully expecting all Acme’s to work the same. Do you all experience this? Mindi, does your Acme (assuming it’s the Limerick one near Target) accept competitors?

There are also wholly guac coupons from the giant $30 coupon books from last week…and they are manufacturer’s coupons not store

Question on the cereal deal – I think the shredded wheat coupon link you posted is for Kellogs. Wouldn’t it have to be Post to work for this? Any other Post coupons that might work for this?

Lisa-
Yes the catalina deal is working I bought 6 crescents rolls, used 3 50c coupons, paid $3 (not really used my catalina from last week) and I received a $4 catalina for the crescents.. I think it’s good till 11/1

10 Barb Higgins October 27, 2009 at 3:41 pm

I was at Acme in Limerick and they are NO longer accepting the comp coupons. I asked customer service and the cashier to make sure they had the same answer, I am sad about this !

Same with Genuardi’s in Flourtown…They don’t take the $5 and $10 competitor coupons either. I emailed Genuardi’s headquarters and complained but they didn’t seem to care.
