Target: Plenty of Bags of Free Chex Mix (through 10/24)

Do you like Chex Mix?  If so, then here is your opportunity to get a whole bunch of  bags for FREE(and if you say “no”, then you obviously haven’t tried Chocolate Turtle Chex Mix.  Sadly, I can and have eaten an entire bag of that in 1 sitting!).

Note:  if you are still a little shy when it comess to using coupons (or don’t have a Walgreens ad)  and don’t want to go through the whole “price matching thing”, Chex Mix is about $2 at most Target stores and you can do this deal to get them for $.50 per bag!

First things first:  you need a Walgreens ad.  Chex Mix is on sale at Walgreens this week for $1.50 and since Target is now price matching, you will need to show them the ad!

Next you want to print 2 $.50 coupons from each of the following sitesCoupons.com, SmartSource, Bricks, Pillsbury and Betty CrockerPlease note that if you have printed these before and they have yet to reset for you, you won’t be able to get them…but make sure that you check ALL the sites to see what you can get!  Some areas also got $.50 coupons in the 9/13 & 10/4 SmartSource inserts (one of mine is a $.50/2)

Lastly, however many $.50 coupons you were able to get?  You want to print that many $1 Target Coupons.  These can be stacked with your manufacturers coupons for a total of $1.50 off per bag!

And since Target will match the $1.50 Walgreens price?  FREE Chex Mix!

Hurry!  The $1 Target coupon expires on Saturday (10/24/09), so you will need to do this deal by then!

Thanks My Baton Rouge Mommy!

Have you tried this yet? At least at MY Target they reimburse you after the fact at customer service and trying to price match AFTER using coupons is a NIGHTMARE, and they are not inclined to match the price after coupons have been applied if it means they owe you money.

So I would love to know if anyone has had real world success with this. :)

Does anyone know if a printed ad from the Walgreens website would work, as I don’t have the actual ad?

I am soooo mad, I had all the printed manu. coupons and I went and had all my family give me their coupons from the paper for a total of 15 bags… they only left me get one. They said the coupon said one per transaction and they refused to ring them up one by one then.

My target is the the same way with their coupons – you can only use 1 per transaction. A real hassle. The first time I went through this with them – I made them take 10 items off my bill. I does say on their coupons 1 per transaction.

What a pain in the butt!

My Target takes it one step further. If you’re buying identical items, say 3 bags of dog food and you’re using 3 man. q’s they make you check out three times in a row. They won’t let you use them even though they say one per item not one per transaction. Needless to say, I try to work around buying stuff at Target with coupons for the most part if I can help it.

I did this deal tonight with no problems. I had the Walgreens ad, the Target coupons and a $.50/2. I bought 4 bags and paid $1 out of pocket. I just checked out at customer service.
