As a reminder, the value of the coupons that you find in your newspaper may vary from the value in the provided link! In addition, all of the stores in my area double coupons up to $.99 (so a $.75 coupon has a value of $1.50). If the stores in your area don’t double or your paper is more expensive, you may not find the coupons as valuable as I do!
Click here to see the coupons this week. There will be 2 inserts: a SmartSource and a RedPlum
Coupons of Note
Colgate $.75: you can usually find Colgate on sale for $1-$2. This coupon makes it free-to-super-cheap after doubling
Dannon coupons $1: the multipacks of yogurt can usually be found on sale for $2. These coupons come out so frequently that there is no reason to ever pay more than $1 for a 6-pack of yogurt!
Tylenol coupons (3 $2 coupons): between CVS, Rite Aid and Walgreens, you should be able to use these coupons to turn a deal in to a moneymaker after ECBs/SCR/RRs
Scott Mail-in-Rebate: the deals and coupons on Scott products aren’t always the best. Use coupons on the purchase that you intend to use for the rebate to maximize your savings!
Schick Quattro $4: as long as there keep being good deals on these are the drug stores and Target, there really is no reason to pay for razors when you have coupons like these!
Post Cereal (2 $1/2 coupons): not the greatest of coupons, but coupons for Post cereals are rare
California Pizza Kitchen $1: coupons for these are rare (and try the BBQ pizza! YUM!)
Bayer coupons: another product that is easy to find for FREE at the drug stores (after their reward program). use these coupons to turn the deal in to a moneymaker
Ball Park Franks $1/2: hold on to this for a BOGO sale
Herbal Essences BOGO coupon: hold on to this for a good deal at CVS/Rite Aid/Walgreens
Luigi’s Real Italian Ice $.50: this has been going on sale for about $1.99 or less lately. Use this coupon to get it for under $1
So how many copies of the paper would I buy?
If I were building a stockpile: 4-6
Now that I am in stockpile maintenance mode: 4-6
Why so many? There are a bunch of good coupons for items with either a long shelf life (toothpaste and shampoo), frozen items or items that can be frozen (like hot dogs)
