Note:  there are several possible scenarios to turn the deals this week in to moneymakers.  However, I don’t need/want any of the over-the-counter items that would be required to work a moneymaker scenario and I am trying to not buy items any longer unless I will actually use them (even if it means I miss a moneymaker scenario).

To get some ideas for other scenarions, check out this post at Deal Seeking Momand click through the Mr. Linky to see what other people have come up with!

Did you see any good deals that I missed or would you like to share your scenarios?  Post them in the comments!

What prompted the switch to not getting the stuff you won’t personally use? Just curious as to whether or not you think it is unethical to pursue the money making scenarios? I have always respected your opinions in that area and love your blog, especially when you run your ethics posts. I love saving money and getting the most for what I earn, but I wonder sometimes if I am doing the right thing in these situations.

oh – it’s just a “I have enough stuff” and a desire to declutter. I guess I mean “What I personally use or I know that other people need”.

I can always donate food, etc…but certain things at the drug stores are SO specific (wart remover, diabetes monitors, etc) that it is hard to find a home for them if I don’t want/need them.

It’s not an “ethical” thing for me…it’s a “I save enough without needing to go for every moneymaker” thing ;-)

For you mommies that shop for diapers!

I entered in my receipts for my Single Check Rebate and found a nice surprise. For the Rebates 61(spend 50 get 25) and 800(Huggies buy5 get1) My jumbo packs of Huggies Pure and Natural Diapers showed up even though under the rebate list they don’t list the Pure and Natural.
Well I’m sure you mommies know that there are great $3 off coupons(mine expire by 7/30) out there for Pure and Natural diapers which is great for diaper coupons!
If you buy five at 11.49 you make both rebates with a total of 57.45. use the 5 $3 off and only spend 42.45 plus you get a free pack of huggies and $25 gift card!
It’s like getting 6 packs of diapers for $6!!! There not bad diapers either, they remind me of softer pampers cruisers!
