As a reminder, the value of the coupons that you find in your newspaper may vary from the value in the provided link! In addition, all of the stores in my area double coupons up to $.99 (so a $.75 coupon has a value of $1.50). If the stores in your area don’t double or your paper is more expensive, you may not find the coupons as valuable as I do!
Click hereto see the coupons this week. There will be 2 inserts: A SmartSource and a Redplum.
Coupons of Note
Totinos $.40/2: these go 10 for $10 all the time, making them $.60 each after doubling
Pillsbury Grands Biscuits $.35: these go as low as $1, more more frequently 3 for $5
Lysol coupons: the $.50 pourable is the the best one, since it goes on sale for $1.66-$2.00 fairly frequently
General Mills Cereal $1/2: this coupon is usually a $1/3, so it’s a LITTLE better. Hold on to it until the cereal goes 3 for $5
Yoplait Fiber One Multipacks $1: Yoplait multipacks go on sale for $2 all the time
Hormel Compleats $.75: these go as low as 3 for $5 (making them $.16 after doubling), but more frequently for $2
Bufferin BOGO: you don’t see many sales on Bufferin (or coupons, for that matter), but if they are putting out a coupon, they may be planning on sponsoring some good deals that the stores in the near future
Finish/Electrasol/Quantum $2.50: Woo To The Hoo! This coupon alone makes it worth buying several copies of the paper. Find the boxes on sale for as low as $2.79 at Target and Walmart! I didn’t think that they would be putting this high of a coupon out any longer…when they did it before everyone thought it was because they were trying to clear the shelves at the stores before the name change from Electrasol to Quantum
Free Satin Care wyb Venus Embrace Razor: CVS, Rite Aid and Walgreens are always having deals that make the Venus FREE after their store promotion. Use this coupon to double up on your freebies (and the Venus Embrace is MUCH better now that they have gone to 5 blades)
Ball or Kerr jars $2.50: this is usually the only time of year that you can get coupons for these (and I need more because I’m making jam!)
Wisk $1.50/2: Wisk seems to go on sale more frequently than other detergents. Hold on to this for a BOGO sale
Turkey Hill half-gallons iced tea $1/2: I’m addicted to the Diet Green Tea and it goes on sale for $1 fairly often (oh – and you can freeze it!)
Turkey Hill half-gallons ice cream $1: Turkey Hill ice cream has been going on & off sale everywhere for $2 (and it’s my favorite Butter Pecan!)
So how many copies of the paper would I buy?
If I were building a stockpile: 8-12
Now that I am in stockpile maintenance mode: 6-10
Why so many? It’s just a good week for coupons! The Electrasol coupon is fantabulous, my husband and children love Totinos, if you like to can the wonderful fruits & veggies of summer then you can finally get some coupons for the jars & lids, the Turkey Hill Ice Cream sales are everywhere….it’s just a good week for coupons!

Did your Philly Inquirer have the Turkey Hill coupons? I was so bummed that mine was missing them!
I didn’t see Totinos either:(
I didn’t get it either :-(
I didn’t get Totinos and I didn’t get the Fresh (Electrosol) coupons. I’m super bummed.
I only had a Red Plum in the Harrisburg Patriot. No SmartSource at all! Was there no SmartSource in our area or did I get skipped in my paper? I am going to give them a call tomorrow, but wanted to find out if anyone else had a problem. Thanks!
sounds like they left your SmartSource insert out….I don’t know if you can still get them, but it might be worth a phone call!
Mindi- Do you happen to know where I can find a schedule of what inserts come out on which weekends? Thanks!!
I just called The Harrisburg Patriot and I should have received that Smart Source. They are having the coupons sent out today for me. She also said that is something that is put together by the driver, so they are going to contact the driver and distribution center to make sure it’s corrected. Thanks for the heads up!
