As a reminder, the value of the coupons that you find in your newspaper may vary from the value in the provided link! In addition, all of the stores in my area double coupons up to $.99 (so a $.75 coupon has a value of $1.50). If the stores in your area don’t double or your paper is more expensive, you may not find the coupons as valuable as I do!
Click here to see the coupons this week. There will be 1 insert: a Proctor & Gamble
Coupons of Note
Febreeze: Get a FREE air Effects when you buy Frabic Refresher
Tide $1: much better than the dinky $.25 coupons they have been giving us the past few months!
Crest Toothpaste $.75: you can often find a 10 for $10 sale on “regular” Crest, making it free after doubling
Head & Shoulders Shampoo or Conditioner BOGO: with any luck, there will be an ECB, SCR or RR deal at CVS, Rite Aid or Walgreens. This will make most deals a moneymaker!
Pantene Full & Thick $2: use this at Kmart Super Doubles next week
Clairol Family Product $2: I am assuming that this is for hair color. If so, there is always an ECB/SCR/RR deal between CVS/Rite Aid/Walgreens each week
Pantene: Buy a Shampoo or Conditioner and get a Styer FREE: with any luck, there will be an ECB, SCR or RR deal at CVS, Rite Aid or Walgreens. This will make most deals a moneymaker!
Pampers coupons: if you use Pampers, this is usually your one chance per month to get coupons! There is even a $2 coupon for the Swaddlers/Sensitive/Cruisers that will be great for Kmart Super Doubles next week!
So how many copies of the paper would I buy?
If I were building a stockpile: 2-4
Now that I am in stockpile-maintenance mode: 2-3
Why so few? For me, the P&G insert is never that big of a deal. The values of the coupons generally aren’t great in relation to the price of the products and the frequency of sales. However, the Pantene and Head & Shoulders coupons are worth getting a few extra copies!
