in general

As a reminder, the value of the coupons that you find in your newspaper may vary from the value in the provided link!  In addition, all of the stores in my area double coupons up to $.99 (so a $.75 coupon has a value of $1.50).   If the stores in your area don’t double or your paper is more expensive, you may not find the coupons as valuable as I do!

Click here to see the coupons this week.  There will be 2 inserts:  A SmartSource and a Redplum.  There also appear to be several coupons in the Parade Magazine (not in all areas)

Coupons of Note

Betty Crocker Brownie Mix $.75/2:  these go 10 for $10 all the time

Betty Crocker Suddenly Salad $.75/2:  these go as low as 10 for $10, but more often 4 for $5

Betty Crocker Warm Delights $.50:  I see these at 3 for $5, making them $.66 after doubling (and my children LOVE these!)

Chex Mix Bars $.75:  these are on sale for $2 all the time, making them $.50 after doubling

Chinet coupons:  there have been some pretty good sales so far this summer and there should be more (since we are deep in to “barbecue season”)

Colgate $.75:  after doubling at the supermarket, this should score you some free toothpaste when it is on a good sale.

Egg-lands Best coupons:  these are on sale more and more often (it seems).  After doubling, this coupon makes these eggs just about the same price as “regular” eggs

Kraft Macaroni & Cheese B3G1F:  just a good coupon!

Pert Plus for Men $1.50:  this is a newer product and there have been some pretty good sales

Planters Product $1/2:  there haven’t been any Planters coupons for a while and Planters nuts seems to be BOGO at sstores everywhere this summer

Sure coupons:  there have been tons of deals at the drug stores lately on Sure

Target Pampers coupon $3 wyb diapers and wipes:  don’t forget that you can stack this with manufacturers coupons (Pampers coupons are usually found in the monthly P&G insert)

Viva Towels $.85:  I used to use this at SuperFresh when they had triples to get the paper towels for free.  It’s been a while since they had triples, but as far as paper towel coupons go, this is a really good one

Ball Park Franks $1/2:  use it on a BOGO sale

Ideal coupon FREE product (50 ct):  Free is good!

Minute Maid Frozen Novelty $.50:  there are plenty of ice cream sales right now

Pringles coupons:  Pringles are on sale 10 for $10 all the time

Wish-Bone Bountifuls $1:  these go on sale for as low as $1.25 (but more frequently 3 for $5)

CoverGirl Coupons:  these can help turn a SCR or ECB deal at Rite Aid or CVS in to a moneymaker!

So how many copies of the paper would I buy?

If I were building a stockpile: 6-8

Now that I am in stockpile-maintenance mode: 6-8

This is a good week for coupons and there are some good ones for items that go on sale frequently at “stock up prices”.  I haven’t been too happy with the coupons lately, but I do like them this week!

I’m new to couponing, and I just wanted you to know how much I appreciate these posts, especially in regard to how many papers you suggest to buy and which coupons are especially rare and which are seen more often. It’s invaluable to a newbie like me! Thanks!

I cut out my coupon for the Kraft mac and cheese b3g1f and noticed that it said “ONE COUPON ALLOWED PER PERSON, PER TRANSACTION.” Doesn’t that seem a bit ridiculous to you, as long as you buy the correct amount for each coupon? I thought so anyway.
