I have never tried Schwan’s, but we have a truck that makes the rounds of our neighborhood and my sister-in-law has been ordering from them for years!

Charlene at My Frugal Adventures found a great $5 off code for Schwan’s.  Just enter D5 at checkout!

Prices start at $3.99 for the MicroSteam Brown Rice and MicroSteam Penne Pasta and there are plenty of other items for just $4.99.  Delivery is only $1, so you can score some free to close-to-free food!

Schwan’s is great food. I love it because I can feed my family a quick meal that’s not drive through. Is it more expensive then the grocery store, yes! but cheaper then going out to dinner. Plus it is rumored that some resturants get their food from Schwan’s.

The rumor that some restaurants use Schwan products is true. Schwan’s Home Service, with the blue and “Inca Gold” trucks that deliver some 400 frozen food products to homes all over America, is just one of several sales, marketing and distribution channels for The Schwan Food Company. Schwan’s Food Service provides products to restaurants, schools, colleges, and other institutions. Your kids are probably eating Schwan pizza products in school, and Schwan desert pies at fast food restaurants. Folks in the military services also see a variety of Schwan Products. Schwan’s Consumer Brands provides products to grocery and other retail stores. Familiar Schwan products include Tony’s, Red Baron, and Feschetta Pizzas, Larry’s Potatoes, Asian Sensation products, Edward’s and Mrs. Smith’s Pies.

Wow, thanks so much for posting this…oddly enough, I was just at their site for the first time earlier today out of curiosity, but I didn’t want to order anything until I had some more “incentive”…$5 off got me one freebie item and I chose one other item to try…so for $5.98, I’ve got a little bit of variety on the way to try them out! Thanks!! :)
