in general

Please remember that the value of the coupons that you find in your newspaper may vary from the value in the provided link!  In addition, all of the stores in my area double coupons up to $.99 (so a $.75 coupon has a value of $1.50).   If the stores in your area don’t double or your paper is more expensive, you may not find the coupons as valuable as I do

Click here to see the list of coupons available this week.  Unfortunately, there is only 1 insert this week:  a SmartSource (but it’s a good one!)

Coupons of Note

A.1. Steak Sauce $2:  these go on sale for $2 all the time, making them free after coupon

BumbleBee Premium Tuna Pouch $1:  you should be able to find these on sale for $1-$1.25 each

Cheerios Snack Mix $.50:  these go on sale for $1 all the time, making them free after doubling

Dentyne $1/2:  these go on sale for $1

Edy’s Dips $1/2:  hold on to this for a BOGO or 50% off sale (plenty of them all Summer)

Fresh Express $.55/2:  these are on sale for $1.25 at Genuardi’s (Safeway stores), making them $.70 each after doubling

Huggies Pull-Ups $2:  there is reported to be a great deal at Target on Pull-Ups starting Sunday (6/14)

John Frieda Root Awakening $3:  Rite Aid and CVS have been having good SCR & ECB deals on Frieda products lately

Kraft Barbecue Sauce $.75:  has been going on & off sale for $1-$1.25 everywhere lately, making it FREE after doubling

Nestle Frozen Novelty coupon $1/2:  hold on to it for a BOGO or 50% off sale (there are plenty these days)

Oreo Cakesters $1:  these go on sale for $2 all the time

Pediasure:  Mail-in-rebate.  If you use this product, a full rebate is always nice.  There is also a chance that there will be an ECB or SCR deal at CVS or Rite Aid, making this coupon a potential moneymaker

Purex Complete 3-in-1 Laundry Sheets $2:  this is a new product (that is fabulous, by the way) and sales abound!

Purina Might Dog Canned food FREE (or $1/case):  free is good, right?

Reach coupons $1:  goes on sale for $.99 all the time

Zone $.55:  the single bars go on sale 10 for $10 all the time, making them free after doubling

So how many copies of the paper would I buy?

If I were building a stockpile: 5-6

Now that I am in stockpile maintenance mode:  5-6

Why that amount?  For me, the A.1., Kraft Barbecue sauce and the Cheerios Mix coupons make up for the cost of the paper alone (since you can get those 2 items free with the coupons and their value exceeds the cost of the paper).  The rest of the coupons are pretty good and will make for some nice deals

“BRING(ING)BACK OUR SUNDAY PAPERS…PLEASE”
I just got back from the new Walgreens, and I may have just solved our problem with how we get our sunday papers. They MAY be able to sell them to us for a discount(keep your fingers crossed for a dollar, but we might have to settle for 1.25). I happened to mention to all the managment team in the store(4 of them)about your website and our issues with the Dallar Tree not selling papers anymore. They seemed Very interested in trying to help us out. They are going to Contact you sometime today through the Website to see if they can meet you and hopefully set up something that will solve our need for coupons.Pinch me… I think I must be Dreaming!!! Can you tell I’m just Totally Stoked!
