By now you have probably heard that Dollar Tree has stopped carrying the newspaper in most areas. This means that I am back to paying $1.75 for my Sunday paper. A few people have emailed me to let me know that Walmart sells the Sunday paper at a reduced price in many areas, so you might want to check it out!
Please remember that the value of the coupons that you find in your newspaper may vary from the value in the provided link! In addition, all of the stores in my area double coupons up to $.99 (so a $.75 coupon has a value of $1.50).
Click here for a list of coupons this week. There should be 3 inserts in your papers: 1 SmartSource, 1 RedPlum and a Proctor & Gamble.
Coupons of Note
Bic Disposable Razors $2: there is a pack at Walmart that is $1.97 in most areas. Use this to get them free
Chex Mix $.50/2: This used to be a $.50/1 coupon that I used to score a bunch of free chex mix when it was on sale for $1. But I guess $.50/bag isn’t bad!
Colgate Coupons: Colgate usually goes cheap enough every few weeks that you can use thes coupons to get it free to close-to-free
Finish/Quantum/Electrasol coupons: not as good as the $2.50 coupons that they were putting out this Winter, but with the packaging/name change, they are really promoting this product in the stores and you should find some good sales
Hamburger Helper $.75/3: hold on to this until a 10 for $10 sale
Joint Juice BOGO: these go on sale 10 for $10 all the time (and aren’t bad…taste a little like Gatorade)
Litehouse $1: the best Caeser salad dressing! Usually the coupon is a $1/2, so this is a nice one
Neutrogena Men item $1: CVS has been running pretty decent deals on this
Playtex coupons: they don’t come out often, so grab them when you can
Reynolds Wrap Recycled Aluminum Foil $.55: this has been going on sale for about $2.50
Splenda $2/2: use this on the smaller sizes of Splenda
Yovation Frozen Yogurt $.55: I think that this is a new product, which should mean that we will see very good sales
Ball Park Franks $1/2: hold on to it for a BOGO or 50% off sale. There should be some great hot dog sales the week before July 4th
Kellogg’s Coupons: there are no other cereal or Pop Tart coupons available right now
Temptations Cat Treats $.50: these go on sale 10 for $10 all the time, making them free after doubling
Gillette Fusion $4: CVS has deals on these all the time and this coupons will typically make it free, close to free or even a moneymaker (after ECBs)
Covergirl coupons: note to Philadelphia-area readers – we NEVER get the Cover Girl Coupons…just an ad for the product where the coupon should be in the insert
Crest $.50: The “classic” version of Crest often goes on sale for $1. use this coupon to get it free after doubling
Always Infinity $4: this size goes on sale for about $8.99
So how many copies of the paper would I buy?
If I were building a stockpile: 6-8
Now that I am in stockpile-maintenance mode 6-8
Why so many? There are a few coupons that you can only get every 6 weeks or so (Kellogg’s, Ball Park Franks, etc) and the P&G circular is typically your only chance to get coupons for their products. It’s not an amazing week, but it’s pretty good!

Our McDonalds all carry the Sunday paper for $1.50 (“regular” price is $2.50 here). They don’t have many, though.
Murphy’s Marketplace in NJ sells them for $1.50… probably not the one in LBI though… :) I wouldn’t go to Wal*Mart if they gave me the paper for free.
Hey, did you notice that we got a Cover Girl coupon??!!
I NEED COUPONS FOR ALWAYS AND DAWN
