Have I Mentioned Swagbucks?

(Well, yes Mindi, you have!)  But I wanted to mention it again!

Those of you who are my Facebook friends have likely seen me whining commenting lately about the difficulty I am having in securing donations for an upcoming event at my children’s school (hint hint to any PR people who have my site on their radar!).  I have been in full-on panic-mode, until I thought about my SwagBucks account!

And what is Swagbucks?  It is just another search engine, except this one pays you to search!

Don’t get me wrong…I love The Googles.  All those cute pictures that I post on this site are courtesy of The Googles.  But when I just need to search for everyday things, I go to The Swagbucks.

And in a few short months, just by starting my searches with Swagbucks, I just submitted for 3 $10 Starbucks gift cards that I will be donating to that school event (I just hope that they come in time!)

Not interested in Starbucks cards?  For that same number of Swagbucks, I could have had almost $45 in Amazon.com gift cards!  Or Disney,  iTunes, Macy’s, or (almost) a $50 Southwest e-gift-card.

So if you haven’t tried Swagbucks, I encourage you to do so!  I’m not going to lie to you…I still love The Googles.  But The Googles don’t pay me for searching!  I simply start with Swagbucks, hope I find what I am looking for and if I don’t, I go to The Googles!
