Even the most casual reader of this site has probably figured out that I have been unhappy with Giant because of Gas Points. However, this week Giant decided to shake things up a bit. We still have Gas Points, but we also have a Catalina Deal AND the opportunity to triple up to 6 coupons (up to a maximum tripled value of $2.97). Oh – and there’s some pretty good sales this week!
I’m swooning!

Thanks for your post! I always look forward to reading the Giant Ad, I don’t have the time to figure out all the deals, looks like this is a week I can’t miss. I’m just trying to figure out what the best coupon match-ups are!
Hi!
I am so happy that I found your site! I have been looking one for Giant PA for awhile now!! Would you mind if I give you a shoutout on my blog?? :)
Devon
Of course I don’t mind….link away!
Bummer…my Giant (Berks County) is only tripling coupons up to 50 cents with the in-ad coupons, not the 99 cents like yours. Still a good deal though! Thanks for the match ups (especially when you note if it is a good price for something!)
Hey. On the Birds Eye you have “and from here” but there is no link. Is there a printable? That would be so cool because I didn’t get one in the the 3/1 paper.
thanks for pointing that out! I usually go through the circular and list the deals then go back & insert the links…guess I missed that one this week!
I found the Gerber Graduate biter biscuits are clearance – .79! With my Gerber coupons from a mailer, tripled, I got 4 boxes free! Thanks for your great blog!
Bummer- our Giant (in State College) isn’t tripling coupons anymore (they used to triple $1.00!!!) ….however, we have the added benefit of doubling dollar coupons on a regular basis….
My Giant doesn’t let you triple multiple coupons. For example, I bought 2 boxes of au gratin potatoes and have 2 $.40 coupons, they only let me use one to triple. I also had some gerber coupons for $.75 and they wouldn’t let me triple them or double them because it was a do not triple coupon. Also, they will not let you use 2 different coupons for 1 product anymore :( I used to like Giant and will probably still go because it’s the cheapest in my area, but I’m trying out Aldi’s and Sharp Shopper more and more.
Ugh! I’m boycotting Giant! I just got back and had an awful time. First, they were completely out of the Dole frozen fruit that was on sale (which i needed for my cat deal, and triple coupons) so i had to scramble in the store to find other things. Then, it would only triple 4 of my 6 coupons, they had to manually override the rest. AND, once that was all done, my $10 OYNO Cat didn’t print! *GRRRR* They gave me a $10 GC to make up the difference. All of this while trying to entertain my 18 month old twins! I think I’m going to Weis from now on!
I’m confused and annoyed with Giant! It’s usually my fave store but I have been rethinking my loyalty lately. Maybe someone can help clear this up for me. I was there last night and had to really try to find things to buy to take advantage of the triple coupons. I ended up purchasing six tubs of Betty Crocker icing. They were $1.39 each and I had six $.50 off coupons. I expected that each would be doubled to $1.50 and the savings would pass on to the rest of my substantial order. Instead, when I checked out, the cashier informed me that only one of my coupons would triple, the rest just doubled. I spoke to the head cashier as to why, she told me that I needed to buy 6 DIFFERENT items in order for the deal to work. She agreed with me that this is ridiculous. I am so annoyed and disappointed in Giant. Thanks, I needed to vent.
