Ok – here is where I officially start whining that they are taking too long to finish building the Walgreen’s up the street from me.  I’ve been posting the deals and just skipping them rather than driving 20 minutes to the next closest store.  This week, I’m making the trip because it is a HUGE week for deals!

Wow. What a great start to the week. I was able to save over $90 at Walgreens and come out of pocket $0 (thanks to a gift card), but even if I didn’t have that it would have only cost me about $8.27 (after tax). You can see my post here http://couponkatie.com/the-proof-3-8-09-saved-over-90-and-spent-0-out-of-pocket/

I’m looking at the Walgreens easy saver catalog online. Do they print this catalog as well? There are coupons that I want but I do not want to print out the entire catalog for a select few.

Thanks!

I had a problem at the 2nd Walgreens I went to. The $10 rewards wouldn’t print… the cashier & manager said it was because with my coupons, it brought the total UNDER $25. I tried to fight them on it (politely of course) but they said it prints automatically and there is nothing they can do to ‘MAKE’ it print. Fortunately, I needed a few more things, so went back and added them to my purchase, THEN it worked. Anyone else have this problem??

Heather, you can get the Easy Saver when you walk into the store.
Leah, you can get the coloring book in the pharmacy for 99cents.

The same thing happened to me at Walgreens. The manager said you
have to spend $25 AFTER coupons. I also tried to politely disagree, but with a long line behind me I dropped it. Bummer

Thanks Jennifer! I stumbled across the Easy Saver booklets two steps inside the front door. What a nice money saver. :)

My local Walgreens would only take one coupon per purchase, which would mean no Register Rewards, buying one pack of diapers at a time. Bummer. Went to Target and got diapers there for a better price, granted Target brand but still fine. Also, Target has Huggies wipes for 8.69 and I could use the $5 coupon there for a great deal there.
