Acme Markets 11/7 to 11/13/08

My apologies for the lateness of this post…it’s been a crazy weekend and there are really only 2 deals worth mentioning:

Catalina deal 1: 

Get $15 OYNO and Free Milk wyb any 10 Participating General Mills Breakfast products.  The $15 Catalina comes in the form of 3 $5 Catalinas and the milk Catalina is one for $4.50 off (it will take the full $4.50 off) and milk is about $3.55 right now for 1%, so if you buy another item with your milk, the extra $.95 will be applied as well.

Participating products include:  ALL General Mills cereals, Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks, Nature Valley Granola Bars, Milk & Cereal Bars, Fiber One Chewy Bars, Fiber One Toaster, Caribou Coffee Bars, Chex Mix Bars, Curves Chewy Bars

The following cereals are 2 for $6 (all others are regular price):

Coupons:  coupons for GM cereals and bars can be found in my sidebar coupon printer here here here and in 8/10, 9/7, 10/5 & 10/19 SS.  Fiber One coupons can be found here.   There were $.55 coupons for the Fiber One Toaster Pastries and $.75 for any Fiber One cereal (3.59 to $3.99/box) in the 11/2 SS.   Most of the coupons for bars expired 11/1, but there were $.75 coupons for Curves bars in the 10/12 SS

Deal Idea: 

In one transaction, I bought 10 Curves Bars and used 10 $.75 coupons (all of which doubled).  Paid $15 (using the $15 in Catalinas from last week’s deals:  $0.00 cash OOP) and got $15 in Catalinas and a $4.50 Catalina for free milk. 

Next transaction, I bought 10 boxes of Fiber One Pastries and a gallon of milk.  Used 10 $.55 coupon and 2 of the $5 Catalinas from transaction 1 and the $4.50 milk Catalina.  Paid $2.10 OOP and received another $15 in Catalinas and another $4.50 milk Catalina. 

Third transaction:  a mix of Fiber One Cereals (original at $3.59/box and Raisin at $3.99/box…used 10 $.75 coupons) and another gallon of milk.  Total came to $26.45 and I used the remaining 4 $5 Catalinas from transactions 1 & 2 as well as the milk catalina to pay $1.95 OOP.  Received another $15 in Catalinas and another $4.50 Milk Catalina. 

You don’t need to do 10 of the same items in one transaction in order to get the Catalinas…I just did it that way because I had the coupons and it made the math easy. 

Catalina Deal #2:  ConAgra Products 

Get $10 OYNO wyb $20 in participating products

Healthy Choice Entrees:  4 for $12

Marie Callender Entrees:  4 for $12

Healthy Choice Soups:  3 for $5 (use the $1/3 from the 10/26 SS)

Healthy Choice Simple Selections:  5 for $10

Ro-tel Tomatoes:  4 for $5

Hunts Manwich:  4 for $5

Chef Boyardee Canned Pasta:  4 for $5

Hunts Pasta Sauce:  4 for $5 (use the $.40/2 from the October All You and the 9/21 SS)

Swiss Miss Cocoa:  $10 for $10 (make sure you ONLY get the ones marked 10 for $10.  The diet cocoa is not included and some varieties are 2 for $5 and not part of the deal!)

Hunts Snack Pudding:  10 for $10

Hunts Stewed and Diced Tomatoes:  10 for $10 (use the $.40/2 from the October All You and the 9/21 SS)

Crunch & Munch Caramel Corn:  10 for $10 (use the $.40/2 from the October All You)

Egg Beaters:  2 for $5 (use the $1 from here)

Pam Cooking Spray:  2 for $5 (use the $1/2 from here)

Peter Pan Peanut Butter:  2 for $5 (use the $1/2 from here)

Wesson Oil:  $3.99 (use the $1/2 from here)

Orville Redenbacher Microwave Popcorn:  BOGO at $3.39 (get the Natural and use the $.75 from the October All You or get any and use the $.40 from the 10/12 SS)  (use the $1/2 from here and here)

Parkay Squeeze Margarine:  $1.79

Reddi Wip Aerosol Topping:  2 for $4 (use the $1/2 from here)

Flesichmann’s Margarine Quarters or Soft:  2 for $4

NOTE:  As of right now, the deal is triggering not on sale prices, but on shelf & Knock Down prices.  For example:  the Swiss Miss cocoas are $2.59 with a Knock Down price of $2 each.  By the sale prices, you would need to buy 20 boxes to trigger the Catalina, but right now you only need to buy 10 and pay the sale price of $10 to get the $10 Catalina.  I don’t know if this is a fluke that Acme will catch and correct or if it is just a little-known secret (because it seems to happen whenever there is a ConAgra deal).

Another example:  the Orville Reddenbacher is BOGO, but the shelf price of 6 is $20.34.  Get 6, pay $10.17 (or less if you have the coupons) and get a $10 Catalina.  These deals were working on Friday and Saturday.
