If you shop at Giant, this becomes a serious moneymaker, depending on how many coupons you have!

Glade Scented Oil Warmers are $4.05 at Giant and giving a $4 Catalina.  Buy 2, use a B1G1 coupon from the 9/14 SS as well as the October issue of Good Housekeeping, Redbook, Woman’s Day (10/7) and All You.  Pay about $4.50 and receive 2 $4 Catalinas.

THEN, in another transaction, buy another 2, use another B1G1 coupon.  Pay with 1 of the Catalinas from transaction #1 and about $.50 and receive 2 more $4 Catalinas!  You now have $12 in Catalinas and have paid $5 OOP.  Continue doing this for as long as you can (but keep in mind that some stores are programmed to only allow 3 transactions per day!)

I had a bunch of these coupons and have “made” an extra $28 in Catalinas in the last few days, with more coupons left to do it a few more times.  As many of you know, that’s more than half my grocery budget for the week and that $28 in Catalinas is good on almost anything in the store (including produce, fresh meat, etc)

This deal is also reported to be working at Meijer, Kmart, Safeway, Kroger Mid Atlantic, Giant Eagle, Copps/PickNSave and Stop & Shop.  At most stores the promotion ends 11/1 or 11/2.

Another great deal at Giant:

Buy 3 Jonhson’s Buddies at $.99 each.  Use the $3/3 coupon from the 9/14 SS.  Pay only sales tax and receive a Catalina for $3/3 Johnson’s Products.  Use that to keep buying more Johnson’s Buddies, paying only sales tax each time.  Not sure the expiration date of this deal, but it was working this morning!
