The response to me doing this last week was wonderful, so let’s keep doing it! This will be a post that I will do every Saturday morning!
Please remember that the actual value of the coupons you receive in your newspaper may be different from the ones listed. Some manufacturers release different value coupons in different areas and some just omit them from certain areas (for instance, I never get the Walgreen’s coupons that are listed on the site!)
Here is the link to the coupons this week
Coupons of Note
Curves Chewy Granola Bars: $.75 these go on & off sale for $2 box and are almost always part of a Catalina deal. When that happens, you get them free or almost free
Glade Glass Scents: B1G1 Glade has been generous with the Catalina deals lately. While these aren’t currently past of a deal, they might be soon. Even if they aren’t on a Catalina deal, if they go B1G1 at Rite Aid or CVS, you can use this coupon to get both free…..and the red version (I think it is berry) smells good!
Kotex Pads (any): $1 Walmart has a size that is about $1.10 (I think it is 8-10 pad pack). You can’t get much cheaper than $.10 for this!
Land O Lakes Butter w/Canola Oil: $.55 while this will say Do Not Double (that’s what the DND means), the last time they said that they were still coded with a 5, so unless you have a particularly observant cashier, it WILL double. This is the one mini-compromise that I make to my “Butter Only” policy in my house, since it works well for baking
Lysol Neutra Air Freshmatic Kit: $5 these have been going on & off sale for anywhere from $5-$7 lately (they are regularly $11-$13)
Revlon Beauty Tool and cosmetic product: $1 CVS has these on sale BOGO next week
All Small & MIghty: $1/2 I guess they finally caught on to the fact that people were taking their $1/1 and buying free trial sizes at Target. Meh!
Chapstick Tru Shimmer Rebate (up to $2.99). This is a fairly new product, so chances are the Walgreens/CVS/Rite Aid will include it in a SCR, ECB or RR program. Which means that after the deal at the store and sendig in for the rebate, this could be a moneymaker (and besides – I LIVE for Chapstick & Carmex for the next 6 months)
Kellogg’s Pop Tarts: $.55 this coupon alone is the reason I am buying multiple papers this week, because this coupon pays for the cost of the paper when I buy them at the Dollar Store. Acme has Pop Tarts on sale 4 for $4 (must buy 4 and use in-ad coupon…but there is no limit). With 4 of these coupons, I get free Pop Tarts after doubling! (edited to add: well – I got my papers and my coupons were $1/2. So I didn’t get free Pop Tarts, but I did get them for $.50/box!)
Starkist Creations Pouch: $1 I’m fairly sure that I have seen these 10 for $10 or 4 for $5 recently. If you like tuna or salmon, this is a great coupon!
Crest Weekly Clean, Multicare Whitening, Vivid White, etc: $1 this seems to be the same wording as the Crest coupon last month, and that coupon is matching up with a $10 for $10 sale on Crest at Acme this week (the ad shows a picture of Whitening Expressions and this coupon includes Crest WE). Free toothpaste! Don’t have an Acme? CVS just LOVES to run ECB deals on Crest (and so does Walgreens, I think) (edited to add: after looking VERY closely at this coupon, it is $1 off ANY Crest. For those of you going to Acme, the Whitening Expressions is not included as I thought, but the Crest Whitening with Baking Soda is included in the 10 for $10 deal and this coupon works….still FREE TOOTHPASTE!)
Herbal Essence Shampoo, Conditioner or Styling: $3/2 these go on sale BOGO or are part of an ECB deal at CVS all the time. Remember – when you have an “off 2″ coupon, most stores WILL allow you to use them with a BOGO sale (just try to give them the coupon before the cashier hits “Subtotal” or it may beep, depending on the store)
Pampers Diapers or Pants: $1.50 You can tell the economy is in trouble when Pampers starts giving you this good of a coupon…usually they are $1/2!
So that’s it! The P&G insert isn’t nearly as good as it was for several months (I have a TON of free shaving cream from the $1 Satin Care coupons that used to be in it and the Target trial size aisle), but hey – at least they’re helping me get free toothpaste!
So if I were in stockpile mode AND I lived in the Philadelphia area and could take advantage of the Pop Tart and Crest deals, how many papers would I buy?
8-12 newspapers
Live outside of Philadelphia and don’t have the Pop Tart/Crest Deals? (although that doesn’t mean that you might not soon)?
4-6 newspapers

Thanks again for doing this. I was looking at other sites that just list the coupons and was thinking it might be a 2 newspaper week. Now I will at least get 4.
TOSHAs last blog post..Kroger again 10-09
I always hear about people saving tons of money with coupons but they never have coupons for anything that I would normally buy. I don’t use any of the products on that list. It would be nice for someone to have coupons on apples or broccoli or fresh fish.
