Gas deals are done and if you have points to redeem, you have until the 18th to do so. Oh – and as a note to my readers in my neck of the woods: I actually complained to the manager at my Giant about the conversion to Gas Deals when we have to drive 20 minutes each way to get to a pump. I was told that the gas station that they are tearing down by the Walgreen’s construction is going to be Giant Gas pumps. FWIW!
Now that the Celebrating 85 Years Coupons have expired, be on the lookout for sampling tables at your store. When they have them, they often have a sheet of 8 coupons good for $1 off different Giant-brands (Nature’s Promise, Pure Power, etc). This can translate in to so many good deals (free bread, $.79 soymilk, etc)
I’m going to be away most of the day (it’s been a crazy weekend), so at least there aren’t that many coupon matchups for me to do (that’s my nice way of saying that the sales pretty much stink this week)

Gala Apples: $.99/lb
Boneless Sirloin Steak: BOGO @$9.49/lb
Dole Premium Classic Blend Salad: BOGO (I don’t think the $1/2 from the 9/14 SS will work sine it is for the Distinctively varieties, but you can give it a try)
Giant Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts: $1.99/lb (if you have any $1 Giant coupons from the 8-to-a-sheet set, you can use them)
Hillshire Farms Smoked Sausage or Polska links: BOGO (there were tearpads around for free hot dog buns wyb 2 as well as $1/2 blinkies)
