Acme and Giant shoppers: South Beach Catalina alert!
Starting tomorrow (8/16), both Acme Markets and Giant will be generating a Catalina until 8/22 when you buy South Beach products, so gather up your coupons!
At both stores, you will receive the following Catalina (which, for you newbies, is a $ coupon good on anything on your next order)
- $1 wyb 2 products
- $2 wyb 3 products
- $3 wyb 4 products
At Giant, the best deal is on the Tide Me Over drink mix. This has been on sale all summer (and according to the shelf tags will be on sale through 8/23) for $2.79. Print off 2 $2 coupons here and then use the $1 coupons from the 7/27 SS
If you are going to do this deal at Acme, GO RIGHT NOW to your Avenu and see if you have Avenu savings for South Beach Products and extend them (it should give you until Sunday). I have a feeling that Acme might yank the South Beach “gravy train” once the Catalina starts printing
My Avenu is giving $1.25 off the pizzas (limit 6 per household), which combined with the $2 coupon here makes them $.74 each and there were $1 coupons in the 6/1 SS
I also have $1 off SB Meal Replacement bars on my Avenu (limit 6 per household) and there were $1 coupons in the 7/27 SS
Also on my Avenu? $1.25 off frozen entrees (not including pizzas, limit 2 per visit) and $1.50 off wraps (limit 2 per visit; these are usually $3.99 each) and there were $1/1 coupons for both in the 7/27 SS
Acme is your best bet…with some creative combining of coupons and Avenu savings and Catalina-rolling (where you buy 4 in 1 transaction, get your $3 Catalina and then immediately do another transaction, using the Catalina from the first transaction to help pay for the second transaction, which will generate another Catalina), you can get a bunch of these for pennies.
Oh - and one other thing? If you have coupons for free OM hot Dogs, Wheat Thins, Kraft Dressing, Kraft Singles or crystal light wyb any 3 Kraft/Nabisco/OM products? South Beach products are Kraft products, so you can use these incredible savings to get even more stuff free.
And here is where your brain starts spinning:
At Giant? There is a Catalina being generated wyb Kraft Cheese (it’s $1 for 3, $2 for 4, $3 for $5), including singles. Buy 4 Tide Me Overs, use the coupons listed. IN THE SAME TRANSACTION, then use 5 Free Kraft Singles coupons (wyb 3 Kraft products) and buy 11 packs of Kool-Aid (currently 5 for $1). If you used 2 $2 Tide Me Over coupons and 2 $1 Tide me overs, your total should be $7.60 and in return you will get 2 $3 Catalinas
Your Net Cost will be $1.60 for 4 SB Tide Me Overs and 5 packs of cheese. This deal will only work at Giant (unless someone has heard that the Kraft Catalina is working at Acme?)
